General Davidmann

Major General David Mann has been the commanding general of US Army Recruiting Command since February 2011. He is responsible for more than 11,000 Soldiers and civilian employees that enlist many tens of thousands of new soldiers eac
h year. Major General Mann’s two previous assignments were also as a commanding general; for the 32nd Air Missile Defense Command at Fort Bliss, Texas, from 2009 to 2011, and at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, from 2008-2009. As the commander of the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade in 2005, he took his unit to Iraq. A Pennsylvania native, Major General Mann graduated from Millersville University’s ROTC program in 1981 and was commissioned an air defense artillery officer.
