Legacy of Sound is a musical vehicle for Blue Mountains artist Michael Cardy to promote his original music. Mick Cardy, founder of Legacy of Sound is an instrumental composer and independent artist who often collaborates with a v
ariety of vocalists in a variety of musical styles. Mick promotes his own instrumental music and collaborative works through means such as radio airplay and internet sites eg. facebook, youtube, myspace and twitter. All promotion of his original music is done through Aural Ecstasy Records, this is an independent record label Mick has set up with the sole purpose of promoting Legacy of Sound and associates. Mick has been releasing music under the name Legacy of Sound since 1992, to date Legacy of Sound has released 12 CDs and has well over 100 songs registered with APRA. Legacy of Sound have 29 videos on Youtube. Currently Legacy of Sound is in the studio working on a new album, which is a heavy metal album enlisting the vocal talents of Mazen Sawaqed (the vocal aggressor) and metal drummer Aaron Dalton. Legacy of Sound is always keen to hear from any vocalists who are looking to work on original material. Legacy of Sound's aim is to become recognised on an international level.
