Tomás Dietz is the Founder and Director of The Flamenco Centre Canberra. He studied in Spain under some of Spain's masters including Antonio Canales, El Güito, Merche Esmeralda, and Manolete to name just a few. Widely known for h
is passionate and transformational teaching, his visceral choreographies have been adopted as the benchmarks for grading awards at the Instituto de la Danza Española, Perth, where he is also an external examiner. As a performer on stage his clean, masculine line, emotional depth and assertive zapateado combine to deliver the full force of pure flamenco.
